A pair of Edwardian scratch-made brass mantlepiece ornaments in the shape of a gentleman's shoes. It is rare to find a set of these plate brass silhouettes in the shape of brogue-style shoes, as they are invariably representing more traditional 'ladies' higher-heeled shoe styles. The brass has punched detail to cleverly create the illusion of stitching and lace holes. Lovely items of folk art.
