A 19th century sailor's woolwork, or 'woolie', of a frigate in full sail flying the Blue Ensign. This is a particularly fine example with a decorative border incorporating floral stems. In overall very good condition with strong unfaded colours. Small losses to outer edge. Glass cleaned on both sides and frame resealed. (UK shipping £25)
