A rare pair of small Regency mirrors, formerly the property of Viscount Conyngham (1766–1832). Both in good condition. Some wear to gilding and age related shrinkage cracks, but very sound and ready to hang. (UK shipping £25)

 

Henry Burton Conyngham was made a Viscount in 1787 in the County of Meath, in the Peerage of Ireland. In 1821 he became Baron Minster of Minster Abbey, in the County of Kent, and was appointed Lord Steward by the Privy Council. From 1829 until his death in 1832, he served as Constable and Governor of Windsor Castle.
