A very large early 20th century wicker laundry basket, which could now be used as a log store bin. Made of thick cane, reinforced with steel rods and banding, it is very robust. The lid has leather hinges, and is fitted with a metal hasp so that it can be padlocked. There is evidence of old woodworm in the elm 'runners' on the base, but this has been treated as a precaution.
