A carved wood pigeon decoy by Harry Boddy. Original screwhead eyes, cast metal beak, and skillfully executed paintwork. This is a half-bodied 'feeding' example. It has a patented plate mechanism from which a metal spike went into the ground, allowing the decoy to 'bob' as though it were a real feeding pigeon! In exceptional condition.
